I understand what a digital phone is. What I'm asking is the brand name of the phone you use, who provides the service, etc.
What you'll probably want to do is get a softphone that is compatible with your service provider so that you can get the conversation onto your computer. From there, just use any sound recorder application to record "stereo mix" or "what you hear" from your sound card.
It's basically what I do to record skype calls for my podcast.
http://www.xten.com/ has a lite version of their softphone that's free to download. It's a SIP-based, so you have to have a provider that uses the SIP protocol.
By the way, depending on why you are recording the conversation there may be possible legal issues. Most states require the other party know they are being recorded.
