Was a sad day when I couldn't use that anymore.. basically made me give up on my PE
First person to use a poison nailgun? I think not...

You only play NC2.1 and people where doing that long long before I'm afraid.

Said one of first people to use the rare one, and actually been playing since neocron 1 just under alternate names, had to remake my char after I started several wars while in brtf... though in my defence dark where asking for it by ganking at the MB and phoenix shouldn't have had a bot defending their base!

nailgun was far and away the most fun pistol =) wish they had made a nail cannon for tanks.

Back on topic loving black prophecy so far, ofc need to see if it gets boring quickly or lasts but so far loving my stunt flying and even pve is fun with the fighting system, and ofc love how you can pvp right off the bat after prologue. I do kinda wish there was a proper penalty for death though... however not like in EVE that was just to much

Ok, I just hooked up my 360 gamepad about an hour ago. The game automatically mapped every key, which was pretty cool. I don't know about the joystick, but the gamepad has some extremely responsive controls. The amazing framerate just makes for a better experience. I'm not as far as you guys, but so far I'm impressed.

Cool, I never actually played games like these with a game pad.
Mouse and Keyboard controls are easy and intuitive too in my opinion.
If you ever played Freelancer/TieFighter you will feel quite at home.
You may need to absorb some of the game first to get the sense of what is there to be had 8)
Clan PvP/PvE posed to be the goal in the end. Albeit being an expensive venture, it is much better than just a team-based PvE or BattleGround/FreeSector ganking. From what I heard, clan stuff is more rewarding.
I anticipate some changes in a near future to entice more people to play. 'KK' shooting itself in a foot with some stuff in my opinion. I hope those little pesky problems will go away.

That's the main reason I'm impressed. It's been a long time since anyone has gone so far as to make a space simulation game let alone MMO. I spent countless hours on X-Wing and Freelancer so it's good to see something pay homage.

As much as I like using the gamepad, there simply are not enough buttons, on my gamepad at least. I still have to resort to going back to the keyboard when I need to dock or check a mission. So I think I'll be sticking with the keyboard and mouse regardless.
