Book was awesome, the movie... I am wary. It's already been in something of a production hell with last minute re-writes and re-shooting the ending.
The book was very well done I hope they can give it some justice and not just make another dumb action movie with zombies.

Yea, with all the zombie movies recently, the zombs in this looked too animated. Similar to the things in I Am Legend. Not to say that was a bad movie cuz of it, or that this one will be bad, it just looks like it'll be an "...eh..." movie.

Hmm, it appears from the trailer that the movie has almost nothing to do with the book, plotwise anyhow. The book is a collection of short stories of peoples account of the zombie war and how it affected them all over the world. The movie seems to be about one family trying to survive in the US. Still looks good though, I shall go and see it.

Yep. Read the book and it seems the movie just loosely borrows the scenario. I'm guessing the real draw is that we haven't seen a zombie movie where there's such a huge flood that an organized modern army can't hold it back.

I'm just hoping Pitt ditches the kids fast... Either that or hope they're not whiny and annoying.
