which is better? imax or 3d? The wife and I want to see it and she looked online for where its showing and prices, the closest theater in 3d is around 10.50 per ticket, or we can drive further to an Imax theater for only 9.00 per
Is the Imax version shown in 3d? or do they only show the 3d version on the flat screens?

IMAX is always shown in 3d. Regular screens have both 2d and digital 3d. Personally, I would try to see it in IMAX if possible. It gives it a much better experience, though the digital 3d is still amazing.

Oh, and by the way... hawt. :D

This movie was amazingly amazing! The whole Imax-3D just added to the amazingness :D Definitely gonna have to see it again

I saw one or two trailers and got the impression it would just be an average sub-par sci-fi film with silly blue people. Then I saw the high rating on IMDB and thought, well, it might be good, so I will go and see it after all. But I was stubborn and thought it can't be that good, so I'll save $3 on each ticket and see it in 2D...

So... after seeing it I'm now considering going to see it again at IMAX in 3D. :D

Cant say much more than whats already been said, it was awesome. One of my favorite parts were the explosions, you could almost feel the blast wave move through you
