ASUS G73JH Issues...(Yes, It's that bad)
This laptop really looked like a beautiful machine on pen and paper. I'm not going to say that this machine isn't powerful, because it is. I was able to run Crysis and Futuremark's Shattered Galaxy all settings maxed anti-aliasing 16x with a 1920x1080 resolution and I was pushing between 40-50 frames in both games. No, I found the issues to lie with both the exterior of the machine and the BIOS. The size of the machine just didn't appeal to me, and the fact it could only go on about 1.5 hours worth of battery life wasn't cool either. The BIOS version 2.06 was the real culprit here. Apparently the version has so many conflicts with this model that it ruins the experience altogether. It seems I'm just one of many who are encountering the BIOS issues on this model. Rather than deal with so much hassle, I decided to return the machine.

Sorry lol, forgot this was a previous topic. In general Mace, I wouldn't consider making this one your next lapper :P Too much frustration involved. A laptop shouldn't have so many issues right from the start. There were some video card compatibility issues as well that I didn't care to mention. But I'll say for sure that Nvidia has never let me down compared to the way ATI has in just a couple days with their catalyst drivers. No offense to ATI lovers out there.
