The last time they were active on the PTS they were a bit different... you just queued up for them randomly. I love the idea that they are now timed events that happen in the Domes so it gives a bit of cohesive feel the world instead of just another gametype to queue up for. Some of the map art has already been changed as well I see (the generator room map for instance).
