Re: Perpetuum - Open Beta 10-18
I've been playing since launch.
Very polished and stable for a 10-man indie title. The devs are very active and there is almost always at least one logged on. Only $10/month with no cost for the client.
EXTREMELY similar to EVE..which includes all the bad as well as the good from EVE. Very light on content: you mine, farm PvE spawns, run missions, keep the corp. construction queues churning out gear, and PvP. Outposts have "windows" for attacks and defense.
The game has a small active community; a single server with lots of Euro folk. Overall, not too bad but nothing special. Lots of potential for growth—player built outposts are planned within six months.
