Patch 144/145/146 Notes
Patch 144 & 145 Notes
- Turned Plaza P1 and DoY City Center into safezones again. The release of the PvP server is a good oppurtunity to make this change, which had been planned for quite some time. Each city now has one meeting point/zone where players can feel completely safe.
- Optimized Nav-Ray in Plaza/Viarosso/Pepper Park.
- Fixed some issues with Pepper sector 3.
- Optimized player position updates (netcode).
- Added mouse wheel scrolling to player trade window.
- Fixed drag&drop position error in player trade window.
- Added/modified code to prepare for PvP server settings.
- Added a new transport box model for trophies.
- Adjusted drop rates of a few trophy parts.
- Renamed and changed inventory icons of a few trophies.

Re: Patch 144/145 Notes
Overall not a bad looking little patch. No fix to login issues tho
And I don't know about making P1 a safezone..... I guess it's good for the noobs and tradeskillers, but if HQ's are still safezones it just takes away another place to PvP and gives zonewhores yet another zoneline....*shrug*a4nic8er wrote:Patch 144 & 145 Notes

Yea, but it moves that zoneline a lot closer to our clan appy so we don't have to run so far to kill the bastages! We will be able to come at them from two directions
If laughter can be contagious, why do we never hear of any mirth pandemics?

That depends what the fix was. We should test when the person appears in the new zone as compared to when the person's synchronizing screen goes away and they see themselves as zoned.Zhut wrote:The only problem I have with this patch is the netcode fix.
It now takes 12 seconds to zone. What this means is that if you're zoning into combat you are dead. Period.

How about this.... zone up a tank from the UG at an OP under attack (with holy shelter on) and take so long to zone that you are face down eating dirt when you come out of sync. Wait there a while until the baddies move your corpse under the gogo so you can't see anything. Then as the 3rd layer is now down, tap out to UG of same OP and come out of sync dead at the bottom of the ladder.
Then there's the issue of the massive ****ing lag spikes that leave you hanging in the air as you run over hills/down stairs.

Yeah I'm not happy with this either - You cant zone up from a UG with out being killed before you come out of sync. When you do come out of sync you lag so hard it's like watching a slide show of the battle right before you die.Bugs Gunny wrote:It bloody sucks right now to zone, plus during pvp you'll lag like hell due to all the extra position calculations being done.
*Patch 146 has totally fixed this problem Just tested zoning up from a ug and its like sex - Ohh sooo nice - Not much lag either*
