And britain falls under europe just as mutch as france or germany does. You may be living on an island but youve always been part of europe both in the geographical and cultural sence. Heck the people now living over there originated in normandy.

The original inhabitants of the british isles where forced out by imigrants from norhern europe a couple of thousand years ago. And although you may think otherwise britain is very culturally close to other european countries. Look at the medival period forexample. You built castles loooking just like the ones in germany or france, you crusaded against the saracens just like germany and france. You social caste system worked exactly the same way as that of germany and france.
