Yea, U.S. forces don't call on British forces for help. They much prefer to use them for target practice.

It's part of a long-established tradition (U.S. sank more british shipping in WWII than the germans did).

I think the yanks just can't get it into their heads that the roundel is not a target.

I believe you'll find it useful in researching the u.s. army and any special forces; such as the few bray mentioned.

Honestly, as much as people want to bash the u.s., you can't even try to bash their military. They're probably #1 now in having been in the most modern-age wars. (I say "probably" because who knows what kinda comments I'd get from saying they ARE when there could be wars over TEA over there, who knows) Also, probably gauranteed, there's a spy/headquaters in every major country to watch their backs.

I love how you guys say "oh, my military is the best!" like you even have a fucking idea what its actually like, I dont even care if you were in the military, you still have no clue what the other side is like. For most of you, the only detailed knowledge you have of the military, you learned from god damn video games!

And of course this thread started as a joke, which I though was pretty funny actually, but someone had to go ahead and take it too seriously, figures even in the spam forum someone has to get their panties in a bunch....

I don't necessarily agree with the choices, but I agree with his point on how certain groups are biased towards certain situations.

I read most of the posts in the 2 threads, and it seems the general consensus was the Australian SAS with the British SAS a close 2nd for the most well-rounded and "best" forces.

The next few dominant names are:
Spetznaz
Delta
Gurkhas
Navy SEALS
JTF2
(in no specific order)

One of my favorite lines out of all the posts:
"if you just want to slaughter everything in sight without fail go with Russian Spetsnaz. Spetsnaz might not be your best choice when hostages are in the area but they'll show no mercy to the terrorists at least."

I never said the British army was the best. In numbers alone we aint. I just meant the training for SAS. Is more harsh than any of the Special ops in america.

to add to Krypto's post about being the most modern military. Explain your reasoning? Im sure UK and some other EU Countries use the exact same technology. (Not to mention all the news reports about militaries not being able to afford body armour).

and does every sentence have to include the word TEA! Its a Sterotype :p..... Supopse i should make some comments about fat twinkie filled Navy Seals?
