Twilight War

So I've been checking out Twilight War and I'm reading a lot of things I like. We'll see tho since it's over a year away.

However, in contrast from Reakktor, the German-based game producer - TW is being produced by Smiling Gator.

Also, I recommend watching this video. Kinda neat. TW feels like... Neocron meets Mad Max or Road Warrior.

I'm currently compiling a list of KK/NC's Highlights and Downfalls and a start of a list of TW's Hopeful highlights and Potential Downfalls. Feel free to contribute

I'll post what I have later.

Keep in mind that development has just started and that the video is nothing like the game since it's concept.

I'm really looking forward to the team's first results of their work on the source engine.

That looks very promising, but then again you can make just about anything look very promising in a video teaser. When is the Beta?

they are aiming at the end of 2005 for something playable i guess.

Don't expect it till 2006 though

I stand by my point thou, Jumpgate would of died alot sooner if it wasnt for planet jumpgate which was one of the best fan sites for any game ever, more people used it than the official site by a factor of about 10 to 1.

Thats one of the reasons I like the SXR sites, they all remind me of those heady days of my first MMORPG in my punny little ship on pay per minute 56k :sniff:

Net Devil and Co. covered up the fact their were hacks for the game even though they new loads of the so called 'best players' were speed hacking and it took a post on the forums with a link to the hacks for them to admit there was a problem.

Even with Neocron's Veg detail on max, NC can't even come close to that.
