Too bad this is all they had to do 4 months ago to retain half of thier playerbase. Too little too late? We'll see.
Sorry to just butt in. I absolutely agree that communication has been pretty poor until recently but that's something we really want to address going forward. As you all know I'm never too far away from the forums so I'm really happy to step into this new role (which will extend to updating the Neocron Launcher with important news as well, finally ). I'm not saying that we're suddenly going to make everything perfect but I am going to provide a constant flow of information to and from the community. Many things have happened over the last few months which have forced everyone to do two or three jobs at once - forum presence has suffered because of this. Things are still busy, and with the international release looming things will stay busy for some time to come, but it's now my responsibility to maintain that customer focus for everyone. I'll try my best to make things better and in the mean time feel free to PM me (on the official forums please) if you have any questions or there are any important issues which you feel I'm not covering. Thanks.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by Nid and I hope it's understood, while I am shocked at the deluge of information, I'm also pretty pleased with it. I check back on the NC forums once in awhile hoping for a patch or an update, but there just hasn't been anything for weeks upon weeks. Everyone is deep down, evigorated by the new influx of info, but I'm sure many will be trepidatious... can you blame them? But in your posts and your tone (even your sarcasm at the start of this thread) it's always been somewhat clear that you are indeed of the same mindset as we are... "What the heck is going on!?" - so I'm glad to see YOU in this position.
I'm hoping to see these future improvements and might even *gasp* renew my account if good things do indeed come

WHat I don't understand is that KK doesn't see this themselves.
You can tell me that they do but they really don't cause else they would have given a status update by now.

/edit - actually we're not 100% there yet. The fansite page has been updated and your banner now appears correctly but we're pointing to your URL at the moment. We'll sort that out as soon as we can but in the meantime at least people can see your banner in its proper place.

There is a big pro and a big con to pointing to an off-site image though - Pro: if the site goes offline, you'll know it and the image won't show up causing reason for investigation. Con: Any malicious webmaster could change the image to something... inappropriate and it would look like neocron.com content I'm thinking that Con outweighs the Pro a bit, heh...
