Neocron 2 is a consequent successor of Neocron 1

really? i thought NC2 was just a graphics redo for players and some empty "we will put it in"s

Because of the close connection between NC1 and NC2, most players switched to NC2 and still enjoy the game because of its now improved qualities

yea i want to play on a game thats been closed down.....because i cant, but i would if i could, i mean im already used to having no one online.....it wouldnt be hard to adjust.....

Neocron is a strong brand

yep right along the lines of half-life, final fantasy, and the sims. EVERY ONES HEARD OF NEOCRON!!

The Neocron project is like a child to us, to our development team. It was born and is now growing while we are spending a lot time taking care of it.

yep we love it like a red headed step child, neglect it and abuse it as much as we can get away with, when it complains we make is promises we cant keep.

this is why i dont play this game any more

You don't play the game anymore because SnowCrash did what he could to make it sound like a good game?

Last time I checked, it still is, and there still are loyal players, many of which are now returning from all the other games that simply suck...

XP has bugs. Microsoft has broken promises and laws. Hardware and software vendors are constantly responsible for data and revenue loss on a massive scale. Do you rant every time you see a commercial on TV for some business-oriented software package that's usually broken but constantly being forced down your throat?

Sorry, but a few setbacks aren't enough to turn me from Neocron to a game where my skills are dependent on the electronic roll of dice. Go back to WoW...your boots of escaping are calling you...

As an aside, I actually want you to come back to NC, but I always feel like anti-KK posts need a just response. Nothing personal.

i dont care if its one big lie, i still love the game...and im never going to quit!...accually i like how they lied, i mean it gives ppl a chance to try out the game.

Honestly, I don't see any lies anywhere in that interview. Perhaps some things that weren't said, but that is to be expected.... You try to write a positive review about something that everyone thinks they hate, despite the fact that they adore it and play it constantly, then see what it sounds like.

Just once I'd like to see a thread started like this where an article about Neocron or KK is linked and NOT see the words "bug" "crash" "incompetent" "broken" or "lie" in any of the responses. Somehow I don't see that happening, though, because nobody can seem to see the game for what it is anymore. All anyone talks about is how KK is evil or don't know what they're doing and that nobody should play Neocron. Lies, broken promises, missing content, the occasional FRE, synch bugs, graphics errors, sympathy problems. Reading threads like that make me feel like I want to quit again.

Everyone that's coming back, and there are quite a few of them, came back for a reason. It wasn't to bitch about the things that don't work or aren't ingame yet. It was to enjoy the things that do work and are ingame.

Sorry, it just seems like nobody has any appreciation anymore.

And for what it's worth, no, there's no chance of me quitting anytime soon. I know what this game is like, and I play it for just that very reason. Most of the rest of you do, too.

i mean i know we bitch and moan but this game is GREAT i mean really a great game...

all of you make it great, this whole clan! you guys are the true source why i come on everyday to play the computer!

and without this game and you guys i would never become a gamer!
